AIRPODS FOUR

An interactive, Apple-inspired 3D product landing page featuring AirPods 4, built to explore high-quality WebGL rendering and modern product storytelling on the web.

PERFORMANCE

A custom preloader handles the heavy lifting before the scene is rendered. Three.js assets, PBR textures, and the 3D model all load silently behind a minimal Apple-style progress indicator. Once ready, the loader fades out and the scene drops in cleanly, with no layout shift or flash of unstyled content.

PRODUCT STORYTELLING

The hero drops you straight into the product with a real-time Three.js model lit with physically-based materials, paired with a clean typographic hierarchy lifted from Apple's own product language. Three contextual CTAs let users learn, buy, or explore features without committing to a single path, keeping the experience non-prescriptive and exploration-friendly.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

Pricing is surfaced at the natural end of the scroll journey, after the product has made its case. Both SKUs (ANC and non-ANC) are presented side-by-side with clear hierarchy so users can self-select without friction. A disclaimer grounds the concept page in transparency, keeping the experience honest about its independent nature.

FEATURE STORYTELLING

Each feature section pairs a real-world device mockup with focused copy; making abstract capabilities feel tangible. The Auto Sync screen shows an actual AirPods pairing UI inside an iPhone frame, grounding the feature in a familiar context rather than a generic illustration. Scroll-triggered entrance animations time each reveal to the user's reading pace.

DARK MODE & ANNOTATIONS

A full dark mode variant ships with a single toggle, inverting the palette while preserving contrast ratios and 3D model legibility under changed ambient lighting conditions. Interactive feature annotation pins surface spec details directly on the model with a deliberate design choice to keep users anchored to the product rather than reading a separate spec table.

I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Guelph with an area of emphasis in User Experience.

I design and develop interfaces that feel effortless, caring deeply about clarity, accessibility, and thoughtful design. My project GPYOU earned Best UI at GDSC Hacks 2025.

Outside of UX, I run RiftCG, a creative brand where I produce 3D animations, motion graphics, and video content. With over a decade of editing experience, I bring cinematic thinking to every interface I design.
